In this course, you can learn about Japanese culture in English through the Japanese traditional tea ceremony,“Sencha-do”.
Tea culture, which originally came from China, has developed uniquely in Japan and is now attracting attention overseas as well.
When you hear the word of“tea ceremony”, you might imagine Matcha (powdered green tea). However, unlike matcha, Sencha-do uses dried tea leaves to infuse in hot water to brew tea. It is a type of tea ceremony that aims to brew tea, in an elegant and neat manner.
In the course, you can learn the brief history of Sencha-do and actually brew tea using utensils with cute Japanese sweets.
